Ross Alexander's DJ career started in 1985 and is still going strong today. From being a full time occupation to now a working hobby Ross continues to DJ at selected events around the world. 

It all started in a little back street bar called the Elephant & Castle in London followed by residencies at Manhattans in Fulham, The Copa in Earls Court, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, The London Hippodrome and many more. He also guested for Gary Henshaw at the Limelight Club - Shaftsbury Avenue and La Scala - Kings Cross for the Elton John Foundation.

 

In 1996 after 16 years living and working in London Ross took a year out to work in Australia where he discovered his spiritual home. Ross was invited to DJ at The Imperial Hotel, The Flinders and The Oxford in Sydney. Returning in 2023 to play at the Turtle Cove Beach Resort.

 

Returning home Ross nomadically travelled the UK picking up residencies at The New Union - Manchester, Hollywood Show bar - Manchester, NG1 - Nottingham, Flamingos - Blackpool and Outrageous in Carlisle. Highlights included playing at Treat On The Street at Granada TV studios 2000, The Printworks 2001and Euro Pride in Manchester 2003. 

 

Shortly after this period Ross was invited by the late Julia Grant to DJ at the first two Benidorm Prides. Gran Canaria eventually beckoned Ross where he spent 5 years playing at the Maspalomas Summer Prides which subsequently led him to play for Winter Pride on the island for 10 glorious years to date. DJing is Ross's first love and as you can hear from his DJ sets above he certainly knows how to throw a party!
